The year is 1252 and the great Kublai Khan has decided to build his summer palace. He has searched for the best architects and they are looking to win fame and prestige.
Sometimes you have to harm other architects’ prestige to steps forward.
The game designer is Javier Velázquez from Colombia. Art for the cards has been done by Santiago Salazar and Carolina Tobar. The game has been previously published by Azahar Juegos.
The box art of the Quined Games edition will be renewed by Konstantin Vohwinkel.
Xanadú is a highly interactive card game for 2 to 5 players. Cards can be buildings that are sources for raw materials for the owner but also for the other players and cards can be workers to retrieve the materials.
The players will compete to earn the highest quantity of “tong baos”, the money in the game, by selling the constructions to the Khan.
The game takes up to 50 minutes.
Xanadú is a strategy game of building and sabotage, for casual and experienced players.
It will be published as the first Masterprint Pocket game so that it can stand in the book shelve besides the games from the Masterprint series.
